Choosing a NEET or JEE coaching institute in Pune: 7 questions worth asking
Choosing where your child will spend the next two years is a big decision, and the brochures all look the same. Cut through the marketing with these seven questions.
1. Who actually teaches the class?
Not who's on the poster — who stands in front of your child every day. Ask about the faculty's own qualifications and where they studied.
2. How big is the batch?
A name in a 200-student hall gets very different attention than one in a small batch. Ask the real number.
3. What does the test series look like?
Frequency, the quality of analysis afterwards, and whether anyone sits with the student to act on it. A test you don't learn from is just a number.
4. Can you see a demo class?
Any confident institute will say yes. Sit in, and judge the teaching for yourself.
5. What do recent results actually show?
Ask for the latest year, with names and scores — not a vague "our students cracked it." Results that can't be shown specifically usually can't be shown for a reason.
6. How is progress communicated to you?
You should know how your child is doing before the final exam tells you. Ask what the parent loop looks like.
7. Does the place fit your child?
The "best" institute in the abstract isn't always the best for one particular student. Distance, batch timing, teaching style and temperament all matter.
You're welcome to put every one of these to us. Book a free counselling call and ask the hard questions — we'd rather you choose us with clear eyes than on a brochure.
